The harp/lyre (Nevel/Kinor in Hebrew) has often been referred to as the “national musical instrument” of the Jewish People. An Art-Deco harp is depicted in a balcony balustrade and a window grille.

“Whenever the spirit from God came on Saul, David would take up his lyre and play. Then relief would come to Saul” (1 Samuel 16:23).
