“Historic” manhole cover. Some of the city’s manholes were produced, at the beginning of the 20th century, in the foundry workshop of the Alliance Israelite Vocational Boys School on Jaffa Road. Manhole covers of this type, were placed in the former cobblestonetype pavements of Me’a She’arim Neighborhood.
