A Jewish traditional Priestly Blessing (“Birkat Kohanim” in Hebrew) is also known as “Raising of the Hands”. The four fingers of each hand of the priest (Kohen) who blesses the congregation are split into two sets of two fingers, thus forming the letter “shin”, symbolizing “Shaddai” (Almighty God).
