According to Rabbinic Decree, every Jew must remember, every day, the Destruction of the Holy Temple. This can be achieved by leaving one square cubit (approx. 45X45 cm.) of wall, unplastered, or painted in black, above the entrance to a Jewish home. The Kamara House, 20 David Yellin Street, Zichron Moshe Neighborhood (see Remembering the Temple’s Destruction “Zecher l’Churban” I).
