Cross Types. The Cross is the ultimate symbol of Christianity and the most significant religious motif, connecting world Christianity to Jerusalem, where Jesus preached, healed, was crucified and interred. The Jerusalem skyline and stone façades of the many churches and Christian institutions, are dotted with different types of crosses.
