Alpha, the first letter and Omega, the last letter of the Greek alphabet, are symbolic of Christ. This symbol originates in the New Testament verse: “‘I am the Alpha and the Omega’, says the Lord God, ‘who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty'”(Revelation 1:8).
