Glazed ceramic street signs provide shimmering color and sharp contrast to the greyish-brown color of Jerusalem’s stone façades. Green and blue were the preferred colors of Sir Ronald Storrs, Governor of Jerusalem, who together with architect Charles Ashbee initiated their design and production.
