The imposing main entrance of the former Palace Hotel building, which was converted in 2014 to the prestigious Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem Hotel. The inscription on the stone plaque reads “We build as our forefathers did and act as they did”.  The Hotel was built by the Supreme Muslim Council in Palestine, 1929 (see Craftsmanship).
