Christian Identity. Christian symbols, in a variety of materials and techniques, appear in stone reliefs, elaborately designed ironwork, colorful mosaics, stained-glass windows and ceramic plaques, thus enriching the external and internal façades of churches and Christian institutional buildings. The symbols range from the Alpha-Omega monogram of Christ, through the Quatrefoil (four-leaf clover) motif, symbolizing the cross, to the Christian legend of St. George slaying the Dragon, which symbolizes the victory of Good over Evil.
